The Chisholm Foundation funds
only a small number of the many worthwhile proposals received. The Foundation
welcomes an opportunity to consider special projects,
especially demonstration
or "seed" projects which,
if successful, can be continued with support
from an organization's operating budget or other funding sources.
Matching gifts
or challenge grants are encouraged
as a means of leveraging the funding effort.
Proposals submitted to the Foundation are reviewed
by the trustees twice a year. Because of the volume of
proposals, there can be delay in review. Applicants are requested to submit
proposals at least three months in advance of need.
