The Chisholm Foundation has no specific application format. However, certain
types of information are important in a complete application, including the
following:
- description of the proposed project;
- summary of the submitting organization and its officers and/or
board;
- project budget and timetable;
- the amount requested from the Chisholm Foundation;
- other funders (if any) of the project and any other pending
proposals;
- a copy of the submitting organization's IRS tax exemption letter;
- brochures or other published material pertaining to the project
or the organization.
Applicants that have not previously submitted materials to the Foundation,
or that seek a more immediate response, can also send an inquiry letter
containing a
brief outline of their proposal. This
will enable the Directors to determine more quickly if there is an interest
